As part of the upgrade to bring Gig broadband service to the community, your cable TV channels will need to be encrypted. As a cable TV subscriber, this will impact your service starting October 4, 2022.

How do I watch cable TV on my televisions that are not connected to any equipment?

Any television that is only connected to a Coax line will require an HD Digital Box.
How do I watch cable TV on my television that is connected through a Digital Tuner Adapter (DTA)?

The DTA will need to be exchanged for an HD Digital Box.
How do I get an HD Digital Box and how much is the rental?

Every television connected to cable TV will require the HD Digital Box. The local Cam-Tel / Cablelynx Broadband office will have an assigned area in the lobby for quick service to pick up the boxes with remotes and instructions you will need. The HD Digital Box monthly rental rate is $5.95 per month each. If you have a DTA, return that equipment when you pick up the HD Digital Box to remove the rental fee for the DTA.
What happens when the channels are encrypted?

Starting October 4, 2022, as channels are encrypted, only televisions with the HD Digital Box will show the channels. By November 29, 2022, all channels will be encrypted. A schedule of the channels and the date they will be encrypted can be viewed by clicking the blue button above.
